Your Black World Reports

Derrick Rose of the Chicago Bulls, at the age of 22, is now the youngest player to ever win the NBA MVP.  He is the second Chicago Bull to win the award, with the other being won by a guy named Michael Jordan.

Rose has led the bulls to 62 wins this year and has elevated his game beyond expectations.  The Bulls have the most wins in the NBA and are poised to make a deep run in the playoffs.

Rose is from the South Side of Chicago and was also Rookie of the Year last season.  This year, he’s averaged 25 points and 7.7 rebounds and positioned the Bulls to possibly win an NBA title.
